The Sacred Trust – Notes, Terms and Conditions

1. Upon receipt of your booking you will be sent an acknowledgement of your booking together with information you will need for the course which will include directions to the venue and details of any items you may need to bring with you.
2. The balance of the course fee becomes due one month before your course starts, other than the following trainings which can be paid for in instalments: Arte Triptych Melissae; The Shaman’s Dance; The Sacred Trust Three Year Professional Practitioner Training; Two Week Training In Classical Shamanism;  Melissae Lyceum Lectorum; Return of the Pythoness;The Shaman’s Dance.
3. Course times: Most non-residential workshops run between approximately 9.30am-5.30pm each day. Most residential events start late afternoon/evening on the first day and finish late afternoon on the last day and include work in the evenings. However, this may vary from course to course and full details will be forwarded to you as soon as your booking has been received.
4. For residential events, the fee includes your accommodation, food and tuition.
5. All cancellations must be received in writing. If you cancel at least one month before your course, you will receive a full refund less your deposit which is non-returnable/non-transferable. However, no refunds/transfers are available if notice is given after this period, or if you do not attend or if you leave early. We therefore recommend that you consider taking out insurance in case you have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances.
6. If you are currently under medical or psychiatric supervision, you must provide a doctor’s letter or certificate confirming your fitness to take part in the course as well as notifying The Sacred Trust at the time of your booking. Sacred Trust courses are not suitable for those with psychiatric or deep emotional issues or those looking for counselling or therapy, as our faculty are not professionally qualified in these areas. The Sacred Trust faculty and members of the Sacred Trust staff are also not trained in allopathic medicine and do not know the medical history of course participants. Therefore they cannot offer any specific medical advice to participants on any Sacred Trust course, workshop or training.
7. The Sacred Trust Teaching Centre is a smoke-free and alcohol-free environment. If you wish to smoke, there is a designated smoking area outside the main front door of the Teaching Centre. Anyone found inebriated or smoking in the property may be asked to leave the course and no refund shall be given. No recreational drugs may be brought to the Sacred Trust Teaching Centre and any course participants found intoxicated or under the influence of recreational drugs will be asked to leave, with no refund being given.
8. If you are attending a residential course at The Sacred Trust Centre and are sharing a room with one or more other participants, The Sacred Trust takes no responsibility for the actions of the person/s with whom you room share. If for whatever reason you are unhappy with your room share, including but not limited to: clash of personalities; disagreements; snoring; other annoying habits etc, The Sacred Trust cannot be held responsible. Please note that most of our courses are fully booked, so if an altercation arises and there are no other rooms available, we will be unable to move you.
9. The Sacred Trust will not accept liability for: loss, injury, or damage (to you) or your personal property, or physical, medical or psychiatric conditions developing during or after your course, workshop or training.
10. If the course or workshop you are booked on does not take place for whatever reason, The Sacred Trust will inform you as soon as possible and we will hold all funds paid as credit to be redeemed against a future workshop or course booking.  The Sacred Trust will not pay for any loss regarding travel costs including airlines flights or other costs associated with travel to the course or workshop.

I understand that this contract is entered into under the laws of the United Kingdom and by agreeing to these Notes, Terms and Conditions I understand that all Sacred Trust workshops and trainings are offered for teaching purposes only and not for the purposes of providing healing or treating any student or participant for any physical or mental condition or illness.
